Why 'Writerield'?

I get a lot of questions about the title of my blog. A lot.

It is often mis-titled as writerfield too. So let's get some things straight...

WRITERIELD;
Derived from: writer/yield

writer, noun

a person who has written something or who writes in a particular way.e.g. 'the writer of a blog.'

yield, verb

give way to arguments, demands, or pressure. produce or provide. e.g. 'the girl yields to her writing.'

Writer; what I identify as. I yield to the internal demand of my mind to write; I have to write for my own sense of sanity and clarity. 

Beyond a sense of desire, writing is a necessity for my own survival.
