1 Year of Life
In the past year, I have:
Been on choir tour to Paris
Sang in the Notre Dame Cathedral
Found my passion of working with children who have SEN
Spent 3 days on a summer uni in Liverpool Hope
Visited London for the first time with Lisa
Did NOT freak out on the Underground (well, majorly)
Visited Harry Potter Studios
Achieved AAB in my AS Levels
Became an academic mentor
Made new friends
Lost old ones
Spent 6 days in Durham on the Sutton Trust Summer School
Got an offer to study Education and Psychology at Durham
Applied to university
Drank too much Pepsi Max
Went to my Year 14 Formal
Met Sammy, my little dairy-free donut from Stoke who I will appreciate always
Ate breakfast at 6.30am with Jess
Witnessed Aaron have his first McDonald's breakfast
Drank some pretty amazing tea
Gotten Hamilton stuck in my head
Appreciated November skies
Loved and lost
Worn dungarees
Felt trapped
Stayed a vegetarian
Discovered I like potatoes
Been learning British Sign Language
Read some fantastic books
Sang in the Waterfront
Made biology posters
Let stress overwhelm me
Taken medication for my brain (and still do!)
Discovered the tv show Friends (late on the button, I know)
Been published on the Mighty
Suffered sleepless nights
Started my A2's
Let my glasses steam up from a hot chocolate
Appreciated warmth
Gathered a new shelf and home for my beloved books
Accepted my past; realised I cannot change it
Given up on things that just weren't right for me
Laughed too hard at puns
Had my braces removed
Grown my hair
Cut my hair
Grown my hair more
Made Aaron read Harry Potter
Eaten cake
Played on swings
Procrastinated
